Sometimes in the midst of the pain, turmoil, trauma, losses, eviction, betrayal, witchcraft attack, lies and character assassination, you have to look back and be grateful for the opportunity to worship God. That gratefulness has to flow from the heart, naturally. It is a confidence that you are trusting find grace in times of need The Sovereign hands of God, to do, what man’s hands cannot do. In fact, the writer to the Hebrews says in chapter 4:16, “ Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it]. It may be difficult to rejoice in the turmoil, betrayal, pain, adversity, affliction, when someone rob you, walk out on you, lie on you, reject you, but that is when your praise becomes a sacrifice and God deserves it. That is when you need to “Rejoice”, again I say “Rejoice” in The Lord and be glad. The Sovereign Lord is using this seeming “setback” for a “comeback” that is greater than before. Even when it is hard to, forgive and set them free from your heart, and move on. God has better ahead of you. He is cutting off every branch, Pruning and weeding out of our lives that which doesn’t bear fruit. (John 15:2) We were created to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. Your best days are ahead of you and not behind you.

Do you know when you need to check your heart before God?… when you can’t rejoice “ALWAYS”. That is when you need to go back to the foot of the cross, encourage yourself in the Lord. Jesus never “sugar-coat” the truth about the troubles or the cost of being his disciple when he told them in John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that ‘IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PERFECT PEACE and CONFIDENCE’. In this world you (will) have TRIBULATION, and TRIALS and DISTRESS and FRUSTRATION; but be of GOOD CHEER (TAKE COURAGE; be CONFIDENT, certain, undaunted) for I have OVERCOME this world”. In other words, Jesus said: “I have DEPRIVED it of its power to harm you and have CONQUERED IT FOR YOU.” Hallelujah!!!
